Playdate with Friends

Today Edie had a playdate with her friends Maddy and Cole. Maddy shared her doll Isabella with Edie. Maddy often tells her mom that she is calling her friend Edie and always has plenty of kisses for Edie when she visits. Cole is the sweetest baby boy. Although Edie and Cole are not talking just yet, they enjoy many of the same toys and games.

4 Months on Valentine's Day

Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday we were bringing Edie home from the hospital and today, Valentine's Day, she is four months old.
She is an angel in lavender. This is one of my favorite little dresses on her. She is now wearing almost all 3-6 month clothes. Her newest trick or should I say tricks, include pushing backwards in her walker (Intellitainer) and pushing herself forward while laying on her tummy. She is laughing aloud on a regular basis now. It is so sweet!
I have to admit she seems to look more and more like her daddy everyday. However, there are times when I look at her and see a little Heather Lanee.

Trip to San Antonio

Jason brought Edie and me to San Antonio for the weekend. We had fun shopping and hanging out on the River Walk. Edie road on a boat for the first time. She loved the scenery and watching all the people. Everywhere we went the comments were always the same, "What a beautiful baby". These are just a few of the pictures we took throughout our stay.

Standing Tall

Edie really likes to be up on her feet. She loves standing up and exercising her legs. The following pictures show just how big she is getting. These were taken about three weeks ago.

Edie is 3 months old!

Here are Edie's 3 month pictures. She is growing so fast. She has found her voice and is using it at it's loudest capacity. Her newest thing is a high pitched squeaky yell. She just wants to be included in the conversation! She is also trying to sit up. Mommy, of course, wants her to role over. Everyone tells me it will come when I least expect it. I'm truly in no big hurry. That will just be another step in her growing up and I've decided I like her just the way she is. My baby!
