Cereal and a Spoon

Good Friday marked a new milestone in Edie's young life. She ate cereal from a spoon for the first time and loved every minute of it. Yeah! It was fun watching and listening as she took each spoonful. We did get it on video and will be sharing it with all the family in May.

6 Months and Counting!

It's official. Edie is the most beautiful baby we have ever seen. The pictures below were taken Easter morning.
We are also happy to report that Edie's six month check up went well. She is now 26 1/2 inches long and weighs 15 lbs.

Maranatha Easter Picnic

The Saturday before Easter our church hosted a community picnic. We had a great time riding horses, playing games and eating yummy grilled burgers. Edie had a great time on her first horse ride. Miss Toni rode her around the church grounds, along with many other children. She also took part in her second Easter egg hunt. Next year she will be a pro! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Edie and the Easter Bunny

Last weekend was Edie's first Easter party. She hunted eggs and spent time with the Easter bunny. Much to our surprise, she was not impressed with the bunny. She did, however, enjoy picking up the eggs. Daddy and mommy just had fun watching her.
Edie's basket is an original. Some of my girlfriends and I got together and sewed the lining for our children's baskets. It was fun but I don't know that I could do it again.

Daddy, why is my basket empty?

I can do it!

The Bumbo!

The Bumbo! What a great invention. We love Edie's. It is helping her learn how to sit up on her own and really comes in handy at dinner time. It is a great stand in for a high chair, temporarily. Here she is sitting on the window seat while mommy cooks supper.

My Dolly and Me!

This was taken in March when Edie was just starting to sit up. She loves to play or slobber on her dolls. This particular doll says mama and dada. We're hoping she will catch on soon and repeat after the doll. Isn't she just adorable!

Nana and Papa Grabow Visit

Edie had a great time visiting with her Nana for the week. By Friday Papa was here to join in the fun. We had fun sitting outside with Edie. She loves being out on the swing.
